ExpeDater is not a match making company or a dating agency. We provide social events where people can meet one another in a relaxed, comfortable environment. ExpeDater does not pre-screen participants attending its events. We cannot vouch for the marital status, personality or sanity of any participant. It is up to you to clarify these matters to your own satisfaction. It is your responsibility to verify personal details of others to your own satisfaction. By signing up for an event, you agree that neither ExpeDater nor any of its associates are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from participating in a ExpeDater event. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with ExpeDater. Such damages include, without limitation, emotional distress and discomfort, physical damages or bodily injury. You agree not to initiate any claim whatsoever against ExpeDater as a result of any of our events and you affirm that you take sole and complete responsibility for any and all actions that might occur during any meeting, communication or date.

Your participation in the events is at the sole discretion of ExpeDater. You may be refused admittance or asked to leave an event at any time for any reason.

 ExpeDater reserves the right to reject registration to any ExpeDater event for any reason whatsoever, or if registration has been effectuated, refund the registration fee in full and prevent anyone from participating in any ExpeDater event.

Terms and Conditions
By signing up for a ExpeDater event, or registering your details on this web site, you hereby agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of this agreement and you further warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to abide by all the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, then you may not use the ExpeDater web site in any form, nor participate in its events. By registering with ExpeDater you provide your assurance that you are at least 18 years old and not married. If you choose to register for an event, you acknowledge all the information you provide is true and accurate. Any misrepresentation will lead to the termination of your membership and dating session. ExpeDater does not scrutinize or otherwise check the validity of, or backgrounds of, any participant of its events including their marital status. It is your full, complete and sole responsibility to perform these actions, if desired, to your satisfaction.

ExpeDater aims to offer participants 15-20 dates per event but is unable to guarantee this quantity. Should participants for whatever reason not attend an event, numbers may be slightly decreased. You accept that ExpeDater offers an opportunity for meeting new people but that ExpeDater does not guarantee that any participant at an event will successfully match with another participant. ExpeDater does not guarantee that any meeting between participants after one of our events will turn out to be successful.

We will make every effort to hold events at the dates, times and locations specified on our web site. We do reserve the right to cancel and/or change event dates, times and locations. In the very unlikely event that this does happen and we do cancel an event, you will be refunded your money in full.

ExpeDater reserves the right to invite media to attend events. Although not a regular occurrence, cameras may be present at our events. We will use our best efforts to communicate and ensure that those participants who do not wish to be on film are not photographed, although ExpeDater makes no representations or guarantees whatsoever regarding whether a participant is or is not actually photographed. Furthermore, members agree and understand that by attending one of our events, he or she may be filmed or recorded and he or she will receive no compensation whatsoever for this.

You may not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other members to buy or sell any products or services through the Service. The participant acknowledges that if he or she works for, is contracted by, or plans to work for or be contracted by any similarly competing service, user will not be able to attend any ExpeDater event without the express permission of ExpeDater prior to registering. The website, the service and the events are for the personal use of individual users and members only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors. Organizations, companies, and/or businesses may not become members of ExpeDater and should not use the service or website for any purpose. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the website, including unauthorized framing of or linking to the website will be investigated, and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive redress. You will not transmit any chain letters or junk email to other members. It's also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from the service in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, or sell to any member without their prior explicit consent.

Cancellation Policy
Anyone who has booked and paid for a ExpeDater Dating event has the right to cancel at any time by sending an email to registration@ExpeDater.com stating that they wish to cancel. We will then send a cancellation ID via email and a rescheduling of the event will be provided, as long as the cancellation request is received (2) days or more before the event. To be fair to everyone else booked onto the event, if the cancellation request is within 48 hours of an event, there will be no refund or rescheduling.

Privacy Statement & Confidentiality
ExpeDater practices a firm commitment to privacy and follows best practices regarding the gathering and dissemination for our website ExpeDater.com. ExpeDater respects and understands the importance of your privacy and will never sell, share, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third parties. All details are kept in the ExpeDater database. ExpeDater reserves the right to release information only if compelled to do so by proper governmental or judicial authorities. When registering with ExpeDater, you will be required to provide your email address and other personal information. We may use your email address to contact you about upcoming events and announcements that we believe may be of interest to you. At any time, you may opt out of receiving such communications by sending us an email at support@ExpeDater.com requesting to unsubscribe from our mailing list.

When your information is collected, it will only be used to advise you of upcoming ExpeDater events and for correspondence relating to any events for which you have booked. As necessary, ExpeDater may contact you for reasons pertaining to your participation or intended participation in a ExpeDater event. When participating in a ExpeDater event, you are giving permission to us to forward your email address and your first name to any participants with whom you "match". A mutual "match" is when both parties score a "yes" for each other, indicating that they both would like to be in contact again. We will not forward your email address to any other people in attendance at the event, without your prior permission.

Notification of Changes
At any time, this Agreement is subject to change by ExpeDater. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your membership, use of the Web site and participation in Events and may be modified by ExpeDater from time to time, such modifications to be effective upon posting on the web site.

Copyright Statement
All content included on this web site including text, graphics, images, logos and software is the property of ExpeDater or its content suppliers, unless otherwise indicated, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. No resale use may be made of material on this web site at any time.
