Step #1
When you arrive, a ExpeDater representative will greet you and guide you through the registration process. Please be sure to bring proper identification. We will need to see either a drivers' license, government issued id, or passport - no exceptions. You will be given a registration form, where you will write your email address or phone number at the top of your sheet. It's your decision which one you want your matches to have. You can provide both if you wish and your matches will have 2 different ways to get in touch.

Step #2
You are given a ExpeDater card, a pen and a badge number. You will be assigned a designated table number for your first date.

Step #3
The host will call everyone to their tables, introduce the staff and explain the rules surrounding the event. Once completed, the host will let you know when to commence your first date.

Step #4
Every 5-10 minutes, the ExpeDater host will advise the participants that their time is up. You'll be given a few moments to jot down some comments about your date. You then clearly mark "yes" or "no" on your ExpeDater card as to whether you would like to keep in touch with them via email or perhaps, actually connect with that person for a "real date" when you think the time is right.

Step #5
The host will advise you to rotate tables and meet someone new. Throughout the event, the ladies remain at a designated table while men will swap places by moving round one table. You'll engage in a quick, "Get to know you" conversation, then eventually move on to the next person. The evening doesn't end until you've met with every member of the opposite sex! Twenty dates is a sensible maximum as it becomes quite tiring. There will be a ten minute break halfway through the event.

Step #6
At the end of the round, we'll collect the ExpeDater card, and compile the mutual matches. So, if you selected eight people and four of them selected you, you will receive four matches. You will receive your ExpeDater results via email within 24 hours. If you don't get an email within two days please contact us. Even if there aren't any matches for you, you should still get an email simply stating there were no matches for you. If this happens, don't sweat it. The email will instruct you how to take advantage of our ExpeDater Guarantee.

Step #7
The rest is up to you - contact your match and celebrate! We encourage both parties to take the initiative to get in touch with each other. Remember, you already know the other person is interested in meeting you!
